Ok, back to today's main topic.
Recently I stumbled upon a YouTube video that showed the highlights of the 2002 US Open quarter final between Pete Sampras and young Andy Roddick.
It was an eye opener for me because my tennis passion started when Roger Federer was dominating the tennis world, i.e. year 2003 onwards. I did not have many chances to watch serve and volley players. Therefore when I watched Sampras played against Roddick, it was very refreshing because it is like watching the transition from “tradition” tennis to modern tennis.
I wrote a short article about my observations in this video and would like to share with my subscribers. I hope you can learn something from the video and give an extra thought about serve and volley strategy.
Tennis Strategy: Are You Willing To Serve And Volley?
Let me know what are your thoughts after watching the video. I would love to hear from you.
